The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Albania has reached 12, according to the most recent update from the Ministry of Health.
Two more people have been diagnosed, one related to patient zero in Tirana, and another in the southern city of Lushnja.
Deputy Minister of Health Mira Rakacolli announced that “in the last 24 hours, 43 people have been tested, of which two are confirmed to have been infected.” She said that the two people are currently stable and in self-imposed quarantine.
Currently, tests have been conducted on 157 people and there are 12 infected cases in total. Nine of them had contact with patient zero, whereas three, one in Tirana, one in Lushnja, and one in Durrës, are unrelated.
