Two patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died today at Tirana’s Infectious Diseases Hospital.
The news was announced this morning by the Ministry of Health. Both individuals had other health issues when they contracted the virus.
77 new cases were announced this morning bringing the total of active cases to 920. The Ministry described the situation at the hospital as “serious” as there are 87 patients being treated, 15 of which are in intensive care.
Two are intubated in critical condition.
