Two Police Officers Charged with Extorting Sexual Favors

The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SPAK), alongside the Internal Affairs Service (ShCBA), have charged two police officers for abuse of duty.

Tirana Traffic Police officer Henrik Zelija and Administrative Violations Control chief Laurenc Duda stand accused of allegedly trying to extort sexual favors from a citizen in exchange of returning her vehicle.

According to the Prosecution Office, the extortion took place in September, 2019.
