The United Kingdom has provided GBP 1 million in financial assistance to Albania for its recovery after the November 26 earthquake.
The British Ambassador to Tirana Duncan Norma and the UN Resident Coordinator Fiona McCluney signed today (October 8) the agreement on financial assistance.
This funding will be used to strengthen local infrastructure, social services and economic sustainability.
The news was given by Ambassador Norman through a post on Twitter.
