Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu announced that in the following days the vaccination of persons under 70 years of age will start.

During his visit to Vlora in the vaccination centers, Manastirliu stated:

Meanwhile we are preparing to reduce the age to 60 years and above. We will follow the national vaccination plan and continue with the at-risk groups”

She said vaccination across the country is progressing at a good pace and called on seniors who have not been notified of the vaccination to come to the vaccination centers with ID cards.

“I have an announcement for all citizens, being here in Vlora, the process has been going on for days now, going very well in the mass vaccination center, we are satisfied with how the vaccination is going throughout Albania, even in a remote village.”

Foreign citizens who are within the prescribed age limits can go to the local mass vaccination system with their residency documents and passport and receive the vaccine for free.
