In Tirana, street lights, bins, bus stops and other items damaged in the ongoing protests are yet to be restored.

The Democratic Party Mayor of Shkoder, Voltana Ademi has filed a criminal complaint with the State Police, denouncing them for not reacting quickly despite her calling them.

The Shkodra Police responded by filing criminal charges against 48 people, including Ademi, for being organisers of the protest. Two firefighters were also charged.

Taulant Balla, the head of the PS Parliamentary Committee accused President Ilir Meta, Opposition leader Lulzim Basha, and Monika Kryemadhi of instigating the vandalism against the HQ.

Mayor Ademi condemned the vandal acts and said the police responded too late to her phone calls for them to keep order.
