Vetëvendosje’s Arbërie Nagavci has suggested that her party could run in snap elections in a joint list with Vjosa Osmani’s party.
Nagavci, who is also the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, added that these elections will bring legitimacy to the country’s institutions. She excluded any possibility of coalition between Vetëvendosje and any parliamentary party.
“It depends on how Osmani will go to the polls. Considering what she has stated and what we can see, she will create an electoral list and run in a joint list with us. I do not believe that we will have any coalition,” Nagavci told Euronews on Friday.
Vjosa Osmani is Kosovo’s Speaker of Parliament and Acting President. She is part of the second largest party, the Democratic League of Kosovo, but she has announced to form a new party due to disagreements with the LDK leadership. In the last election in 2019, she was the second most voted politician in Kosovo, only a few thousand votes behind Albin Kurti.
