The Independent Qualification Commission dismissed the Head of Elbasan Court Sulejman Kurti.
Today, the vetting panel composed of Firdes Shuli, Lulzim Hamitaj and Valbona Sanxhaktari found that Judge Kurti was unable to justify with legal sources about €50 thousand (ALL 6 million) used in his house construction.
Additionally, the National Security Agency (DSIK) had drafted two reports on Kurti’s background, the second of which was negative.
As regards judge’s proficiency, the vetting commission questioned his handling of three cases.
