Polling stations are closed in Kosovo’s second round of local elections.
According to the official information, more than 37,6 per cent of voters cast their ballot, in 21 races for mayors, including the capital Prishtina, aand the second and third largest cities of Prizren and Gjakova.
The voting went smoothly without any reported incidents and no major complaints by the contesting parties.
The counting is underway, and the preliminary results are expected before the midnight.
