Workers Protest in Durres Over Lack of Financial Assistance During COVID-19 Pandemic

70 employees of a tailor’s shop in Durrës are protesting in front of the Tax Directorate in Durrës, as they have not received their ‘war salary’.

The protesters clarified that they have not worked in the last month due to COVID-19 and that they have not been paid by the owner of the tailor’s shop or by the state.

They say they are determined not to let anyone into their offices without solving their problem but administration workers were able to enter through the back doors, avoiding the protest.
