Father of Man Murdered by Policeman Refuses Apology, Says it wasn’t Accidental

The father of the 25-year-old murdered by a policeman last week has said that he believes his sons murder was premeditated.

In a statement given to ABC News, Qazim Rasha said it was not accidental and there was no alibi or excuse.

“It is premeditated murder. Premeditated murder. Premeditated murder. And there is no alibi of any kind.”

He explained that the alley where his son Klodian was killed was a dead-end and was covered by multiple CCTV cameras.

Rasha also refused to accept the apology given by the police officer who shot his son twice and killed him. He described the apology as a facade.

“It is a facade, simply a facade, and has no meaning. A person, even those with mental issues cannot think of this kind of vulgarity…A civil servant, a police officer, a law enforcement officer, who is obliged to save my life, my child, your child, we ask for protection and solidarity from them.”

The government offered the Rasha family a monthly payment of 70,000 lek ( EUR 560) but in the decision, it said that Klodian Rasha lost his life accidentally.
