Minister Teams Up with Snow Plow Driver to Clean a Road

Albanian Minister of Transportation Belinda Balluku teamed up with a snow plow driver to clean a road last night.

Broadcasting on Prime Minister Edi Rama’s Facebook page at 9 pm under #PuneJoGjume (#WorkNoSleep), Balluku reported live under strong winds from a road covered with snow.

“Thank you for this opportunity,” she told the driver upon entering a snow plow vehicle, which then set to clean the road in live broadcast.

Balluku assured the public that all roads are open and that the government is working tirelessly.

At the same time, opposition leader Lulzim Basha told News24 that at he was stuck on the same road the minister claimed to be open, the Milot-Lezhe road.

Chief Socialist Taulant Balla also inspected electrical poles on Sunday, after a night of snowfall.

He slammed at those who criticize the government’s reaction to the blocked roads by the first snow this year.

“To the clowns who comment from their warm sofa, who make guesses as to why this and why that, I tell you that these are very difficult atmospheric conditions,” Balla informed the public.
