Albanian authorities have reported another victim from coronavirus-related complications, bringing the death toll to 11. A 79-year-old man die on Monday after he had been hospitalized for 18 days.
The number of coronavirus cases found has reached to 223 after 11 new cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
Tests have been conducted on 1526 people in total, 90 in the last 24 hours.
– The number of those infected stands at 223.
– 44 patients recovered.
– 74 patients are hospitalized.
– 7 patients are in intensive care, 4 are connected to ventilators.
The rest of the infected are under quarantine at home.
The map of those infected covers cities of Tirana (124, including 6 victim), Durrës (14, including one victim), Fier (23, including one victims), Korça (14), Lushnje (4, including one victim), Elbasan (5), Rrogozhina (2), Kavaja (4, including one victim), (12), Vlora (5, including one victim), Shkodra (7), Lezha (5), Has (2), Berat (1), Kruja (5), Tropoja (5), Puka (3), Mirdita (1).
The government has limited testing only to people over 65, the chronically ill, and those who have had contact with infected patients.
