MP Adriatik Alimadhi has contracted the coronavirus. Alimadhi himself announced in a Facebook post that he had tested positive this week. He and his wife, both infected, are under quarantine at home and in a stable condition.
Alimadhi is the first member of parliament to test positive for the coronavirus. So far, the total number of infected cases in Albania has reached 186, 8 of which have succumbed to the disease.
