The Albanian police arrested two persons for migrant trafficking in two separate operations during the weekend.
Vlora police arrested a 31-year-old man on Saturday, who is suspected of sheltering illegal immigrants. The owner of a hotel in Tirana was also arrested earlier in relation to the same operation after police detained 50 illegal migrants on January 8.
In a separate operation, police arrested a 35-year-old man in Korça on Sunday for transporting 13 illegal migrants.
