The Orthodox Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durres, and all Albania, is reported to be ready to leave the hospital in Greece following treatment for COVID-19.
Greek media reports that he is expected to leave from the Evangelismos Hospital in Athens. He was admitted on 11 November after being airlifted from Albania due to “mild symptoms“. He will remain in Greece in self-isolation for the time being.
Last week, the Mufti of Shkoder and the Catholic Archbishop of Albania were sent to Turkey and Italy respectively for treatment for COVID-19.
