Socialist Minister Elisa Spiropali and MP of the Parliamentary Opposition Halit Valteri have violated anti-COVID-19 measures by gathering a large group in a closed environment.
As per the rules, any gatherings of more than 10 people are not allowed and face masks and social distancing must be observed in public.
On 1 February, Haliti and Spiropali gathered several dozen people indoors for an electoral meeting. The photo was published on Valteri’s Instagram page and shows citizens sat close together and without masks.
This is the latest in a number of violations, the most recent of which was Mira Rakacolli, the chair of Albania’s task force on pandemic response and Deputy Minister of Health.
She was pictured sat in a Socialist Party meeting, again not observing social distancing and with more than ten people present.
