Serious Crimes Prosecutor Dritan Prençi Passes Vetting

Serious Crimes prosecutor Dritan Prençi successfully passed his vetting.

The KPK judicial body made up of Genta Tafa Bungo, Pamela Qirko, and Suela Zhegu ruled that Prençis’s wealth declarations were unproblematic, and his professional abilities received positive assessment.

Prosecutor Prençi was part of a priority vetting list, as he is a candidate for a seat in the High Prosecutorial Council (KLP).

Initially Dritan Prençi served as a judicial police officer in the Tropoja district, and afterwards became a prosecutor in the same district. Before his position at the Tirana Serious Crimes Prosecution Office, he worked at the Kukës and Kurbin Prosecution Offices.

Currently, Prençi is investigating the case of former Minister of Interior Affairs Tahiri, the Orest Sota case, and the case of Nezar Seiti, the financier of the Habilaj gang.
