The Special Anti-corruption Prosecution Office (SPAK) started investigations into Mayor of Bulqiza Lefter Alla on suspicions of “possession of narcotics”.
Ora News TV reported that prosecutors will look into the original video published and question the mayor. Alla arrived at the SPAK offices this afternoon for questioning.
Journalist Artan Hoxha first published screenshots and later confirmed for Abc News that the mayor seen in the video snorting cocaine is Lefter Alla.
Opposition Democratic Party stated that “separation of politics from crime is a national emergency” and urged the prosecution to investigate the mayor and the criminal group trafficking and distributing cocaine in the area.
Lefter Alla himself said the video was edited by the opposition to frame him because of the good job he has done as mayor.
